  1. I just tried calling you and it said "your call cannot be completed as dialed"....did you write the number correctly? Do i have to dial the country code? Write exactly what i have to push on my phone.

Also i have questions...like what are the people in your group doing that don't know spanish? How are they communicating with the people that are letting them stay at their place.

Also it's going to take quite some time to get used to things. You are Valeria and you will make a difference. So don't set out to fail. That was horrible advice. Good will always come out of this trip....whether it be getting to know people on a personal level, or helping someone finish the roof to their home, or teaching some kids how to say, "hello, nice to meet you" in English, or assisting an old lady to cross the street so she doesn't get run over by a goat (haha, sorry light humor).....no i'm serious tho...it's the little things that count. They count. You will not fail. I love you. Tell your group I say hi and that you are all in my prayers.

    Love you,
    Ange

  3. To answer the questions above:

Yes, the number is right. For some reason, it will not connect most of the time. I have to try like 5 times in a row in order to get connected. I am not sure what the problem is, it could be that I am dyslexic and am messing up one of the 35 numbers that I have to type in order to get through, or Panama needs to get their shit together and connect my phone calls!

Also, I think she does get texts... She sent me one recently, and I replied. Not sure if she got it, though.

    Vale, te extrano!

I just read about your ankle and I hope your feeling better now. Remember to Rest.Ice.Compress.Elevate your foot and draw the ABC's with your toe so it can heal quicker that way you can get rid off those crutches quicker. well i see everything is else is doing great and your doing your own thing over there, I know sometimes its hard to leave everyone behind but sometimes you have to go out and do what you got to do (im on the same boat). well ill keep checking up on your blog to see how your ankle is doing. remember friends are forever no matter how far apart they might be.
    take care, emilio
